Conference on “Young People, Actors in their Towns and Regions” On the occasion of the “10^th anniversary of the European Charter on the Participation of Young People in Municipal and Regional Life”

Krakow (Poland), 7-8 March 2002

To celebrate the 10^th Anniversary of European Charter on the Participation of Young People in Municipal and Regional Life, the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe (CLRAE) will be holding a conference on youth participation entitled “Young People, Actors in Their Towns and Regions”. The Conference will be held in Krakow 7-8 March 2002 and is being organized by the Culture and Education Committee of the CLRAE in partnership with the Council of Europe’s Directorate of Youth and Sports and at the invitation of, and co-operation with, the City of Krakow.

The conference will be attended by European local and regional elected representatives, experts on culture and education and representatives of associations and civil society. First and foremost it will bring together persons who work daily with young matters, including young people themselves.
